| So here's the thing. The staff members I have at the moment (co-admin, application manager, and plot manager) are not as dedicated to my RPG as I thought they would be. And although I know that some of them have busier lives and/or attend a University/college, I still think they should log on at some point at least once a week. But this is just that, some of them haven't even logged on since the fall of 2007 and the rise of '08.
So I am now sending off a bulk e-mail to each of them through my board telling them that if they don't send a message back to me by the end of the week, I will delete them from my board as a staff member and not only that, but also ban their I.P. addresses and delete them from my MySpace (in fact, my co-admin is on my Top 5 Friends list; although not for long at this point). I know I'm strict, and that my RPG hasn't even gained it's first actual roleplay member yet, but they don't even post something relative to what their staff position is about. For example, my plot manager has only made one post, and that was describing how to use the 'sample plot'. And I know she attends a University, and that so does my co-admin, and that my application manager is a high-school sophomore like my probably filled with projects and the like, but none of them post anything or even attempt to try and make a character or check in with the progress of the board.
And that just irritates me.
So you can all forgo that last entry I posted on staff searching, as I am now going to run the board on my own, or at least until it gets incredibly hectic to the point that I need staff.
I know that I'm being strict. But when I think of staff members, I think of people who are actually dedicated enough to check in on the progress of the board they are helping to keep alive and actually try and attempt to be the staff member they were appointed as (i.e. plot manager, etc.)

| Yes, yes, Y-E-S! Toujurs Pur is finally open. There are so many canon characters to roleplay as it isn't even funny, and many more to come as the plot thickens. And yet, there's is just one tiny little problem. We don't have moderators. What I mean is, we don't have a full house of staff members. Sure, I've got a co-admin, an application manager, and a plot manager. But what we don't have are a shopkeeper, scorekeeper, advertisement/affiliate moderator, and post moderator. I can uphold these positions for now, but I would really really really really REALLY really R-E-A-L-L-Y really like it if anyone tried to claim any one of these positions. It's not like I'd be working as that part for the time being going "Oh how I wish somebody would take this position from me and claim it as their own, etc." but it's more like, I have a life, you know. Homework. Projects. Studies. School. The whole she-bang of a fifteen-year-old Sophomore student going on sixteen. ;) Also, for those of you who wish to get more into the plot, despite the fact that we have only just opened up, I plan on making a bit of a 'fanvid trailer' on either YouTube and/or my MySpace, as well as a fanfic on my HarryPotterFanfiction.com account (i.e. if interested, it's here). So that's about all for now. If you are at all interested in claiming one of the aforementioned Toujurs Pur staff positions, please leave a comment and I will reply Thank you so much in advanced! ^^ | |

| My RPG has been open for quite some time now, althought its finishing touches have only now just been done up. The RPG itself is based in the year 2023, exactly 26 years after Deathly Hallows. If any of you are interested, I've pasted the plot below the cut. Here are the following staff positions available. - Shopkeeper - updates the shop list each time an item is bought. Totals the points, checking up on the posts, makes sure that those who say they have posted more than 253 words really have posted 253 words.
- Scorekeeper - keeps up to date with who's been given points, who's taken points, total house points weekly, and makes sure that points that have been given and taken have been really given and taken.
- Advertisement/Affiliate Moderator - keeps an eye out for double advertising, makes sure banners in advertisements/affiliates, and makes sure that each affiliate has a button of our somewhere on their board.
- Post Moderator - checks to see if any lyrics in posts are credited, looks for double-RP posting, and watches out for any over-the-top drama in both OOC and in-character posts.
All aforementioned staff positions require the following - a nice attitude - respect - a good idea of how to use the warning scale APPROPRIATELY - an active log-in unless absent (see number of days as mentioned in your desired role for details)
I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR AN EXTRA ADMIN!!

| Read through some of Shakespeare's tragedies. I'm serious, guys. I was sitting in my English class listening to my teacher explain a few select lines in Othello, when suddenly, I got an idea.
And that idea came straight out of a book written 400 years ago. Could you believe it? I loved the idea so much that I'm now getting into it. But of course, I've always been a huge fan of Shakespeare. But it wasn't until that day in which I realized Shakespeare could be used for what just might turn into some rather interesting HPFF stories.
Considering that Sheakspeare seems to have a thing for writing about tragedies and drama, I've been leaning towards those books of his for plot bunnies since that oh-so-wondrous day. Even more so since Harry Potter is based on a school filled with characters that possibly have a personality that matches the personality of one of Shakespeare's own characters. And what's life at school without a bit of drama melted into the mixing pot?
If you've written anything inspired by Shakespeare, be it a fanfiction or original, Let me know and I'll give it a looksee. I thought this might be of some help for those who are looking for plot bunnies. Aren't I nice?

| Hey, there. My name is Nina and I am currently fifteen years old. My favorite pastimes are graphic design, listening to music, reading, roleplaying, and writing. My favorite types of music are metal, punk, and wizard rock. I have four graphic design programs. Adobe Image Ready. Adobe Photoshop CS2. Jasc Animation Shop 3. And Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. However, my favorite of all four is most definitely PS CS2, so you can see that I use that a lot. =] My favorite bands are Avenged Sevenfold, Draco and the Malfoys, Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, Harry and the Potters, Iron Maiden, Lamb of God, Lacuna Coil, Magica, The Moaning Myrtles, Nightwish, Panic! at the Disco, The Remus Lupins, and The Weird Sisters. My favorite books are The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, Beowulf by Anonymous, Harry Potter Books 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 by J.K. Rowling, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Illiad by Homer, and The Oddyssey also by Homer. My favorite movies are "Beowulf and Grendel" (2005), The Harry Potter Movies, "Interview with the Vampire" (1994), The Lord of the Rings Movies, "National Treasure" (2004), and "Pan's Labyrinth" (2006).
And that's about it. I'll be using this journal for both my graphics and my stories. I'll be trying to update this journal as often as possible, although I can't say for sure that'll be every day, me being a busy lil' Sophomore and all. =P - Tags:introduction
